The Colin Byrne Bursary

The Colin Byrne Bursary was established by the Half Way House Bunclody GAA Club in conjunction with the Byrne Family to provide financial support to a number of training and support programmes with a particular focus on youth development and Gaelic games to ensure that Colin's legacy will live on in assisting young people to maximise their potential.

It was established in memory of a man whose warmth, generosity, and community spirit touched countless lives. Colin Byrne was known throughout Bunclody and beyond for his kindness and his ability to bring people together.
